After retiring from a successful 34-year career with a Fortune 500 transportation and logistics company, having progressed from entry-level sales management to several key director-level positions, I am now involved in many volunteer programs, including mentoring disadvantaged students at the elementary, secondary, and high school levels, Habitat for Humanity, Toys for Tots, and various Feed the Hungry programs.
However, for more than 15 years, I have enjoyed my involvement in Scouting BSA (Boy Scouts) of America. Over that time, I have watched dozens of young boys grow from Cub Scouts to highly educated, successful, and productive young men.
